Make plans to visit Keeling Schaefer Vineyards' Willcox Tasting Room. Our tasting room is located in the historic 1917 Willcox Bank and Trust building. Open Thursday-Sunday, 11-5, Kathleen Benyak, Sonia Latimer and Kristen Hale serve all of our wines, including the limited releases, at 154 N Railroad Avenue in downtown Willcox. Call 520-766-0600. Current release tastings are $7 and include a commemorative glass. We share a glass program with Carlson Creek, Coronado and Zarpara wineries. Bring-in one of their glasses and tasting is $5.
When you see the natural beauty that surrounds the Willcox area and our vineyard in the Chiricahua foothills, you’ll want to experience more than the wine.
Our area is well known because of the wide range of wildlife that can be seen while hiking or driving. Birders come here from all around the world to get a glimpse of some of the rare birds that frequent the diverse habitats of this area. In the winter this is one of the best areas to spot Sandhill Cranes. In the summer this is one of the two areas in the U.S. to see the Elegant Trogon.
